Last night Rob and I decided to make a mall run over to the mall in Sherman Oaks. Getting there was not easy. I started out on Ventura and it was barely moving. Then I tried Moorpark, which also was all backed up. Finally I headed to Riverside and that wasn't much better. I have a feeling something major was happening on the 101 because even on our way home all the streets headed in that direction were all backed up. Ugh. It has never taken me that long to get to the Sherman Oaks mall ever. I think I've gotten to Disneyland faster than that.

But, we did manage to get there. I was going to park in one of their spots reserved for pregnant women, but they were all taken. What the hell? Every damn time I've been to that mall when I haven't been pregnant there's always open pregnant mom spots. So the time I go there while pregnant, there aren't any. Great. Eventually I parked and Rob and I headed into the mall.

Our first stop was at the Origins counter at Macy's for some lipstick my Mom wanted me to pick up for her. That was super easy. Our next stop was at Sephora where I was going to get some gloss which was also for my Mom. However, there was a snag. While they carried the brand, the kind of gloss she wanted didn't exist. So, we had to skip on that. We then made our way upstairs to Bath and Body Works and this one was a "flagship" store! So, we not only got the hand lotion we both needed, but I was also able to get a free tote filled with samples of new products. Sweet.

From there we thought about what we wanted to do for dinner. Nothing in the mall's food court sounded remotely edible. We ended up heading back home and stopped at a McDonald's on Ventura. I was having a bit of a jones for a cheeseburger and decided to make it a bit healthier with one of their fruit and yogurt cups. Not super tasty, but definitely better than some of there other food. After dinner we headed back home.
