Still sore as hell from Knott's.

pregnancy

Two days later, and I'm still super sore from Knott's. I think I might have torn something in my right calf. It hurts like hell. Doesn't help that the baby is putting me off balance. I'm not used to carrying a bowling ball around on my stomach.

Today my Mom got into town. Woot! Her flight got in around 11am and her limo got her here a bit after noon. We hung out around the apartment a bit and then headed out for lunch and a grocery store run.

We attempted to head to McDonald's for lunch, but there were no spots and a ton of cars circling. I have very little patience when it comes to things like that so after circling one and a half times I left. We headed to In N Out instead. After lunch we went to the grocery store and picked up some things we needed and some things my Mom wanted. We then came home, put the groceries away, and just chilled out. My Mom showed us some of the baby stuff she picked up. When Rob got home from work we showed her all of the baby stuff we've been picking up. We have a decent amount. I like buying it throughout the pregnancy, it's a lot less draining on our finances. There's no way we could buy it all at once. And to think, we haven't even looked at purchasing the big ticket items yet.

We headed to dinner at Benihana for 7pm reservations. I love that place. All the ginger means I can actually eat chicken without throwing up. I love chicken, the baby does not. My Mom wanted to eat there while she was out here and I never mind going there. Dinner was super yummy (and super filling) and we got to be entertained by a girl on the opposite side of the table who was obviously strung out. Probably on either coke or crystal-meth. Either way, she was doped up big time. It was obvious. She changed her mind about her dinner after taking a few bites of it and wanted what her friend was having. Then she didn't touch her new dish. She also kept squirming, giggling, and playing with her phone. Her friends started getting annoyed at her when she started calling their phones. Wow. Drugged out much?

We're back at home now and I'm getting a few things done online while my Mom watches TV. Don't want to be on here too long though.

Snobby yet ubiquitous.

People act like they understand you more than they actually do.
