Last night I forgot to have my bedtime snack and so when I couldn't sleep (as usual) and was getting very hungry I wandered into the kitchen to see what I could dig up. I looked around and decided to make some soup. I grabbed one of our Pyrex bowels and nearly had a heart attack as I saw that something was moving in the bowl. I threw the bowl into the sink (luckily it didn't break) and started screaming when I realized that there was a huge spider in the bowl. By huge, I mean about the size one one of those White Castle slider burgers. Eventually Rob heard me screaming and came into the kitchen half conscious. He killed the spider for me (after looking at it and making the comment of "Holy shit, that IS one big spider!") and went back to bed. The bowl was washed out and I had my soup all the while shuddering and looking around the kitchen to make sure nothing else was alive in there. I can't even begin to say just how creepy that was.
