Yesterday my Mom got into town. Woot! She got to my place a little after 3pm. We chilled out around the house for a bit and then headed over to the grocery store. We got the grocery shopping done and as we were back home unloading the car Rob got home from work. After putting the groceries away, we headed out to dinner at Picanha. Mmmmm, meat. After dinner we made a stop at the drug store and then headed home to relax.

This morning we all got up early (7am) and headed up to Solvang for the day. My Mom had never been up there before and I've been dying to show it to her. Lunch was had at the Heidelburg Inn and while I was in the line for the bathroom after lunch Rob tried to get our massage appointments at the De-Stress Cafe. Unfortunately, they were already all booked up so I'm currently one sore and achey pregnant woman.

We then walked around the town. We picked up some magnetic bracelets and carved animal totems at the Mystic Merchant, a watch for Rob at a jewlery store (I warned him if he didn't get his Ebel fixed by Xmas that he'd end up with a new watch - my Mom got him a neat Citizen one made out of titanium), a pair of grey Uggs for me, and a whole bunch of things for Gabriel. Wandering around the town was fun and my Mom seemed to love the area. We needed to take quite a few breaks though since I kept getting dizzy and tired.

For dinner we headed to The Hitching Post. Rob and I haven't been there in a very long time and since it was a weekday they had an opening. I love that place. They have amazing steaks and my Mom was very happy we went there. We then headed home and only had to make one potty trip on the way back.

I'm currently trying to get some things done online as quickly as possible while my Mom watches TV. Once I'm done on here, I'll head out and chill out with her.
