He cooked steaks and mashed potatoes for dinner (he's an amazing cook) and we watched some TV (Hex, Master of Champions, So You Think You Can Dance) while we gamed. Unfortunately, we got to bed later than we had wanted to. Today I'm tired but that's really nothing new. Last night we figured out that Gabriel has a loose concept of time. Scary being that he's only four months old. I've noticed that at 11am if the TV is not set to Teletubbies and if he's not in front of it he'll start having a fit. Once he's watching the show he's fine. The thing that gets me is the fact that he knows when it's on! This isn't a one time thing either and he's starting to do this with other things. Sometimes Rob gets home as early as 5:15pm. Gabriel now knows this and if Rob isn't home by 5:15pm he'll start crying. The longer it takes Rob to get here the worse he'll scream. When Rob got home at 6pm the other night Gabriel was having a full blown scream-at-the-top-of-his-lungs fit. This morning when we got up and were about to head out of the bedroom Gabriel noticed the remote I use to turn the bedroom light on and off. We have a remote (black with a red button which is probably what caught his attention) we use to control the light because for some weird reason none of the plugs in the room correspond to the light switch. Anyway, he was staring at the remote and trying to grab it. I told him that if you push the red button the light will turn off. He kept poking at it and got the light to turn off! I'm pretty sure we have a very smart baby on our hands. He's going to run circles around us when he can talk and walk. ----------
