I am so tired right now. I've spent around twelve hours in the car and running around. Oy.

We got up at 6:45 this morning and after I got out of the shower had quite a nice sight. Out of my Mom's bedroom window we saw all of the hot air balloons taking off from Galena. Some flew our way and one landed right outside of her house! There were some really cool ones... like a fish and a monkey.

Around 9am we headed out from my Mom's house to Milwaukee. It takes about three hours to get from my Mom's place to the Milwaukee area. When we got there it was time for lunch and so we grabbed something at Culver's and ate in the car and then headed over to my Uncle Kim's house. We dropped my Nana off there for the day and then headed to check out a place in Brookfield. They have a townhome opening up soon, but didn't have one to show us at the time. So, we should be seeing that one some time next week. We then went into Milwaukee to check out a town home there. It was very cool, but had four stories and all those stairs would be hell on my bad knee. We peeked at a place in Wauwatosa, but decided not to look at it because it was in an industrial area and there was a funky smell around the place. We then checked out an apartment in New Berlin which was okay, but not what we're looking for. We also checked out a cool town home in Pewaukee. It was amazing, but the showers were so small. I think out of every place we looked at the Pewaukee one might have been the best. However, if we would be working in Milwaukee it would be about an hour commute. We'll be going back sometime next week to look at more places and pick the place we want to live and get all of the lease stuff done.

When we were done looking at places for the day it was around 5pm and no more leasing offices were open. So we headed back to Kim's house to pick up my Nana. We headed out, grabbed dinner once again at Culver's and ate in the car (my Nana can't really get into places easily and we only had her walker and not her wheelchair with us) and then headed back to my Mom's place. We got back here around 9pm. 12 hours on the road. *meeps* It's nice to be back at home and just relax a bit.
