I had no problem falling asleep (which is nice for a change) and was able to sleep through the roofers banging above me this morning. Eventually they did wake me up and I spent some time just lounging in bed and Rob and I went over the apartments we saw yesterday. Eventually I showered and got ready. Later on in the day we were going to check out a new Greek restaurant in the area, but my Nana didn't want to leave the house. Since she was staying in my Mom had to stay in. She let Rob and I borrow her car so that we could go out to dinner and she watched Gabriel for us. Wow. This is the first time that Rob and I went out to dinner on our own since Gabriel was born. It was nice. We made a quick stop at the Irish Cottage to check and see if they had any rings that we were interested in (we'll be replacing our wedding bands sometime in the future) and when they didn't we headed into town to go to The Log Cabin for dinner. Steak just sounded really good. We had a nice, quiet, romantic dinner that was just the two of us. It was nice to have someone babysitting Gabriel for us. While I do love doing things with him, I will admit that sometimes it is nice for Rob and I to be able to do something alone. Especially since this is the first time that's happened in the eight months since Gabriel was born. After dinner we stopped in at the Paradise to pick up taco salads for my Mom and Nana and then we headed back home. I contemplated stopping into the pub at the Irish Cottage to get a black and tan, but we decided to just head home since we had taco salads in the car. Now we're back and home and relaxing and watching TV. ----------
