I have to get up when???

Donate Weapons of Mass Destruction

We slept in a bit today (which is probably a very good thing considering how early we have to get up tomorrow... more on that later in the entry) and once we were up and ready we headed to a local doctor's office. The muscle cramp in Rob's arm is pretty much gone (there is still some pain), however he can't use his arm. From the shoulder to the elbow, the arm is dead and has no strength to it. So, he got it checked out by a doctor.

The doctor thinks that his nerves are mashed. One of the scary things is that his right arm has no reflexes anymore. He checked the reflexes in both arms and the left one was fine and the right one was dead. The doctor thinks that during the muscle cramp that the nerves that go from his neck to his shoulder were mashed. He gave Rob an arm sling and a prescription for another muscle relaxant when his Valium runs out and a steroid to help with the inflammation.

After the doctor's office we headed to Wal*Mart so I could pick up some baby oil (I got the gel because they don't make the light oil mist anymore) for my dry skin and then we headed to The Log Cabin for dinner. Gabriel was super fussy during dinner. After dinner we headed back to my Mom's place.

Our truck driver called us this morning and told us he would be at the apartment with our things tomorrow morning at 8am. On the bright side, we now know that we will be moving in tomorrow. Apparently he had to make some sort of emergency run to Texas. On the less than bright side, we have to meet him at our new apartment at 8am. Which means leaving my Mom's house at 5am at the latest. Which means waking up at 3am at the latest. Ugh. I'm also not sure how we'll work things like setting up the entertainment system, TV, computer, etc when Rob has no use of his right arm.

I need to call Earthlink from our place tomorrow once we're moved in and I find the phones. Originally I was given around a 5 week estimate for when our new internet connection would be set up (with possible dial up access). So, I have no idea when I will be online again. I'd like to come on as soon as possible to check e-mail and keep people updated on here, but there's not much I can do if I don't have any way to access the internet. We'll see. If I disappear for awhile, you know why. Hopefully, even if it is through dial up, I'll be on again before 5 weeks. Hopefully.

Dark Purple
To others, you seem a bit dark, mysterious, and moody.
In truth, you are just a very unique person who doesn't care what others think.
And you really enjoy your offbeat interests and friends.
You've decided that life is about living for yourself - simple as that.
