Just a brief update. We're still nowhere near being fully unpacked, but whatever. It'll happen eventually.

The other day we went into Milwaukee to get some doughnuts. There are Dunkin Doughnuts out here (their chocolate munchkins are the best doughnuts ever), but the only stores near us are in downtown Milwaukee. Ah well, it was nice to see part of the city and just drive around for a bit. And the doughnuts were more than worth the drive.

Yesterday was spent doing errands (like a Wal*Mart run). It was snowing again so I'm really glad we have my SUV. I think it's good to have a 4 wheel drive car when the weather gets to be all icy and snowy.

Today we checked out a local mall. We wandered around a bit and went in some stores. I got a tin of cashews at Buddy Squirrel and I'm going to try and use them as a bribe to get my Dad to visit and see us and Gabriel. He used to love those things so maybe it will work. I'm also on the hunt for a b-day present for my Mom. I was going to get her a bunch of stuff from Bath and Body Works in her favorite scent, but their selection of that particular scent was near non-existant. Meh. I have some other ideas though. She keeps saying she doesn't want anything, but I've never been known to listen to that sort of think. *wink*

Anyway, just stopping in to say I'm here, I'm trying to check my e-mail on a regular basis, I am reading other people's journals still, and I LOVE it out here.
