Ice Cream Run

Late last night I had a major hankering for ice cream. While there are a lot of frozen custard places around here, I have yet to see an ice cream shop. So, we found the nearest Baskin Robbins (which isn't that close) and got the directions so I could get some ice cream today.

When we first headed out today, it was to Carenza because Rob had an appointment for a haircut. Gabriel and I waited in the car. The weather was gorgeous out (more on that later) and so I had the car window cracked. It took Rob about 45 minutes or so in there, but Gabriel slept the entire time and I had a magazine with me.

When Rob was done at the hair salon, we headed into a really cute section of Wauwatosa to get that ice cream. It took awhile to find the place because the streets in the area were all torn up and most of them were closed. But we did eventually find it. Hooray for ice cream! Gabriel even had some.

We then headed home for a few minutes, headed back out to grab dinner, and then came home for the night.

Tonight we watched America's Next Top Model and Kitchen Nightmares. I bathed the Poopchuck.

The weather out here is totally wacky. Just two days ago we were sweltering in the lower 90's. Now today it was in the low 50's. Suddenly it went from summer to fall in two days. Odd, but I'm not complaining. The weather is finally nice and tolerable for me.
