2008-07-08 12:57 PM Sneezing Into The Laundry Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Amused Read/Post Comments (1) I have a really weird son. He likes to help with the laundry. That part isn't weird, it's just cute. Any time I'm taking things out of the washer and putting them into the dryer, he *has* to help. I hand him each item one by one and he places that item into the dryer. The weird thing just started happening today. Every item I handed him was fake sneezed into. He took the item, held it up to his nose, said "ah-ah-ah-choo" as a fake sneeze, and then tossed it into the dryer. I had no idea where he was getting this from and tried not to laugh myself silly. I mentioned this to Rob and he knows exactly where Gabriel gets this from. One of Gabriel's favorite movies is Elmo In Grouchland. There's a part at the beginning of the movie where Elmo loses his blanket and it falls down into Oscar's hands. Oscar sneezes into it and throws it into his trash can. So, when I hand him the laundry (coming down from me like the blanket falling) he takes it from me and fake sneezes into it (just like Oscar) and then tosses it into the dryer (just like Oscar tosses Elmo's blanket into the trash can). Yeah... wow. In other Gabriel news, he knows his shapes! He can (correctly) point out a circle, square, triangle, rectangle, oval, and a star. Yay! ----------
