I'm not going to tell you to go out and vote. Either you already have done so, are planning on doing so today, or have already decided that you don't want to. While I do think that voting is important (because if you're anything other than white and male, someone fought hard for your right to vote), I also respect people's decisions as to whether or not they want to vote (and who they want to vote for). I'll be voting later today. Rob's coming home for lunch so he can watch Gabriel while I go and vote. I know who I'm voting for, but I'm not happy with my choice. I'm not happy with either of the major choices and I know that voting independant isn't going to make a noticible difference in the election.

Anyway, onto other things. I'm going to be cancelling one of my credit cards soon (the reason why will be explained later in this entry) and so I decided to cash in whatever reward points that I could. I'll be getting (for free, including free shipping) a brand new programmable Krups coffee maker. A coffee maker is something both Rob and I have been wanting for awhile and so we're getting one for free. Nice.

So, the credit card thing. I like for my credit cards to be charity cards, where a certain percent of what I spend is donated to a charity. I have two credit cards and one benefits the WWF and the other used to benefit St. Jude's. My card company no longer has a relationship with St Jude's, so they turned my card into a plain old rewards card. I'm not interested in having it. So, I applied for an ASPCA charity card and as soon as I get that, I'll be cancelling the rewards card. The only credit cards I'm interested in having are the charity ones.

Gabriel is being a total spaz and is running around in circles. Both he and I miss my Mom. He keeps asking where his Nana is and when she'll be here.
