I Was Eaten By A Dinosaur

Friday night when Rob got home from work, I had some errands (bank and post office) that I needed to get done. When I ran into the bank, Rob waited in the car with Gabriel. When I was in the bank, the conversation between Rob and Gabriel went like this:
Rob: Where's Mommy? Is she in the bank?
Gabriel: Oh no! Dinosaur ate Mommy!

So, yeah. Apparently I was eaten by a dinosaur. I should have listened to Gabriel's warnings when I was driving to the bank that there was a dinosaur in the back of the car.

Friday night we were able to watch our Netflix DVD of Saw 5 while Gabriel went between playing in his room and watching one of his DVDs on the laptop. It was very good and lived up to what I've come to expect from the Saw series.

Saturday was our errands day. In the morning I had a nice and relaxing time at the salon. I got my hair color touched up and had a trim. When I got home from the salon, all of us headed out on errands.

We went to Fresh Market for some groceries, Babies R Us for some diapers, the drug store for a prescription refill, and then brought everything home. After that we headed back out to Walgreens and our main grocery store for our main weekly shop. That night we grabbed take out from PF Changs for dinner and gamed.

On Sunday we didn't have much planned, so we played it by ear. Rob got his car washed since the weather was above freezing outside and then we headed into Milwaukee to do some shopping at Whole Foods. I was able to find some super tasty vegan frozen food to make for lunch this week. We then grabbed PF Changs for dinner yet again. We only recently found out that they had take-out, before this weekend the last time we had their tasty food was back in Los Angeles before Gabriel was born (over 3 years ago). Sunday night we just chilled out around the house not doing much of anything.

My carpal tunnel is getting bad again, and it's been less than 6 months since I had that shot. So, I'm once again in the wrist brace all day and the cast all night. *sigh* This sucks. I don't want to have to go in for another shot, especially so soon after the last one. I have a horrible feeling that because the shot didn't last very long that surgery will be in my future. The shot is SO painful. It's a shot directly into my nerve. For about a day after, my wrist and hand are numb. Then, the next day, it hurts so badly that I usually end up crying in pain. Over the week it gets better and then it's fantastic. But it's hell to get it to be better. So, for now I'm trying to hold off as long as possible before being seen for it again. It's not easy typing with the brace on and it's uncomfortable sleeping with a cast on. Meh.

Your 80s Song is "Walk Like an Egyptian"
If you were transported back to the 80s, your life would be all about having fun.
You love the wackiness that the 80s represented. Everything back then seemed a lot more colorful!

You'd peg your jeans, get a "totally tubular" hair cut, and even wear one sequined glove.
You would skateboard, play Pac-Man, and hang out at the mall. And of course, you would walk like an egyptian.
