Sick

My throat is still killing me, but at least I can talk now. There's still the weird mucus in the back of my throat that makes it hard for me to talk and breathe, but I've learned that drinking either cold or hot beverages (no room temp ones) will help remove it for a short period of time. Rob was worried it might be my tonsils because of how hard it is for me to swallow and because my neck is somewhat swollen, but I think it's just a bad cold.

The throat still hurts, but not as badly as it did yesterday. Also, my nose is clogging up and my sinus passages feel like they're going to burst, so my bet is that I've caught some sort of a cold. No fever, so I'm betting on cold and not flu. While there is never a good time to get sick, I'm rather pissed that this is happening now. We're heading to my Mom's place this weekend and I really do not want to be sick for that.

Dayquil and Nyquil are my friends and we have a vaporizer going in the bedroom at night.

I really hope that neither Rob nor Gabriel catches whatever bug I seem to have. Luckily, Gabriel seems to have his father's immune system.

Yesterday's seminar on divorce law was actually rather fun and was very informative. Family law is one area I'd love to practice in, but right about now, I'd practice in any area I think I could handle with compitence.

Today I'm doing a ton of laundry to get ready for our trip tomorrow. I had spent three months working on plans for our anniversary only to have them blow up on me due to circumstances beyond my control. So, we're heading to my Mom's so that we can at least have a dinner out while she watches Gabriel. At least it's something.

That being said, I probably won't be back on here until Tuesday.

You are a shitzu!

You need everything to be perfect, and are very organized. You would rather spend a day at the beach reading magazines then getting dirty in the sand. Your friends go to you for advice, and love your confidence.

What Type Of Dog Are You?
