Around 2:15 pm (more than two hours after the electrician was supposed to show up), my Mom and I headed out to get some things done. I left a note for him and was fine with him letting himself in.

My Mom and I wanted to do more, but didn't because we didn't want to be out too long. So, we just did what we needed to do.

We headed to the MPTV pick up and pay area so I could get my Bucks duffle bag and the kringles as well. We then headed to Fresh Market so she could get some of their nuts. She grabbed a sandwich from Suburpia to bring home with her for dinner and we headed back home. The electrician hadn't come, so I'm glad we decided to head out.

When Rob got home from work, we headed out to dinner at fondue. Sooooo yummy. The drive back was horrible, the rain was so bad that I couldn't see the road for a good part of the drive. Not cool.

Saturday morning, my Mom headed out to visit with my Nana before heading back home. Rob and I did our usual weekend errands. We headed to Fuddrucker's for lunch and then stopped at the Fresh Market. We brought that stuff home and then headed to Menard's (where they didn't have a single item we were looking for) and then to Pick N Save for our weekly grocery shop.

That night we got take out from Buca for dinner (salad and a pizza) and watched the last night of MPTV's Great TV Auction. We did some more bidding and even won two other things - a tote bag full of locally made goodies and a framed "quilt as art" fish piece that I absolutely love.

Sunday I woke up with a migraine and wasn't able to shake it all day (even two of my new prescription headache pills didn't seem to do much of anything).

When we headed out we grabbed Taco Bell for lunch and then headed to the MPTV pick up and pay building to get our tote bag and fish art. We then made a quick stop at Fresh Market to see if they had in any more of the cherry mint "MetroMint" waters, but they were sold out. We then stopped at another Menard's and were able to find the Brita water filters and the air conditioning filters that we needed. However, we still couldn't find anything to hang our new artwork with that didn't pierce the wall. We made a quick stop at GMC for some pills I needed and then headed back home.

Later on, we brought in Chinese food from Golden Gate for dinner, gamed, and watched The Amazing Race and The Celebrity Apprentice.

As of this morning, it's been one week since we first called our apartment manager about the problem with the bathroom light switch. It's been a week since we've had light in our bathroom and the duct tape is still over the switch. There's a chance that having a sparking and buzzing light switch might be a fire hazard, and yet no one has come to take care of it. While I like apartment living because we're not the ones to pay for repairs, I hate it because we're at someone else's whim as to when or if something gets fixed. This is really pissing me off. Of course this happens right after we signed a new lease for another year.
