Saturday morning I had a hair appointment. Part of my scalp had a bad reaction to the solution. It's odd, my whole scalp didn't have a problem so I know there wasn't a problem with the solution, but the part that had the problem didn't seem to be having any issues before the appointment. I have no clue what the hell happened. But, when the solution was on, it burned a lot. It seemed all right after it got washed out, but now the part that burned hurts like hell (combing my hair after I shower is next to impossible) and has some blisters on it. Ouch.

I, apparently, have very tasty blood. I'm like a walking happy meal for mosquitoes. I got one bite last weekend and three this weekend, and I don't spend much time outside in this heat! I'd hate to see what I look like if the weather ever gets nice enough to head to the Ren Faire.

After my hair appointment, we did our main Pick N Save grocery shopping for the week. We grabbed dinner at Buca di Beppo for dinner (I wanted their Caesar salad and nothing else) and gamed.

Sunday we decided to head to the Mayfair Mall. I wanted to get a new kind of L'Occitane shampoo and conditioner since my scalp hurts like hell. I LOVE their products and the fact that they always do what they promise. I normally use their shampoo and conditioner for dry/damaged hair and it WORKS! I have my hair dyed every 6 weeks and heat style (with blow dryer and flat iron) and it keeps it from becoming damaged. So, I got their soothing shampoo and conditioner for problem scalps. I thought that would be the best thing to use until my scalp heals up.

While I was in the L'Occitane store, Rob took Gabriel to Quality Candy/Buddy Squirrel and let him pick out a treat. He got some dark blue rock candy.

We also made a run to our local game store so that Rob could get the new D&D book for this month. For dinner, we did Buca once more, but this time got a new pasta dish (with tomatoes, olives, in a basil/garlic/olive oil sauce) for dinner. When we got home we watched Big Brother.

This morning I used the new shampoo and conditioner and it worked great. It really helped with my scalp. The only major problem I had while getting ready this morning was trying to comb the knots out of my hair. Yeowch.

So, we had a bit of weirdness over the weekend. One night when we were out, we saw something that looked like a coffin sitting by the side of the road near a cemetery. We stopped to see what it was, but couldn't tell in the dark. We went back the next day, and still don't know what it was. It looked like either a coffin or an open grave covered by a black tarp, held down by rocks. But, it was outside the cemetery next to the road and not in the cemetery itself. Odd.
