It's weird. Every time Gabriel goes off to pre-school in the morning, I get all nervous. During the morning it's just weird to not have him around and I miss him terribly. Then, in the afternoon, it's kind of nice. I can do errands and other things I normally can't get done on a weekday and the day goes by quickly and before I know it, it's time to pick him up.

He seems to be doing well there and really likes it. It seems he's the closest with the teacher (Ms. Laura) at the moment, but I was the same way as a kid. I always preferred being around adults to being around kids.

Last Tuesday was water day and I was happily surprised that Gabriel was not drenched from head to toe when I picked him up.

They combined the 3's and the 4's that day and having that many kids in one room seemed to turn him into a total spaz. He was jumped off of tables and climbing all over everything. His teacher agrees, when he has the discipline for it, this kid need to be in gymnastics.

When I picked him up, he was with the 3's. When they split the rooms back he wanted to stay with the 3's. He already knows the 4's and wanted to make new friends with the 3's. They saw no harm in this, and so he was allowed to spend the end of the day with them. Heh, he's about their size and isn't the smallest kid in that class. In his, he's the shortest and the skinniest - even among the girls. We have a wee little dude.
