Friday night we tried to head to the Chancery for dinner, but there was a fairly long wait, so we headed to Perkins instead. Gabriel was fairly well behaved, however, the problem with having dinner at Perkins is that there's a claw machine in the lobby. It's rigged so you can't possibly win anything from it (it never closes completely) and thus causes children (like Gabriel) to freak out. So, except for the damn claw machine, Perkins is a good place to take Gabriel out to eat.

When we got home we watched our Netflix DVD rental of Alice in Wonderland (the Tim Burton version). It was actually rather good, though I think I prefer the SyFy miniseries better.

Saturday we did all of our errands. We grabbed a quick lunch at Burger King and then did some grocery shopping at Fresh Market, and made a stop off at Babies R Us. We then headed out once more to the post office, the drug store, and Pick N Save for our large grocery shopping. For dinner, we got barbecue from Famous Dave's and later on we gamed.

On Sunday we headed out and grabbed lunch at a sandwich shop called the Loaf and Jug. We then made a stop at Toys R Us, the game store, and the Halloween Express in the giant pumpkin that's on the state fair grounds. We headed to the Chancery for dinner and then just chilled around at home. We had Big Brother on, but didn't pay much attention to it because it was just a re-cap of everything we had already seen.

You Should Sing in the Shower
You may not be the world's greatest singer, but you shouldn't be deprived of singing.
So go ahead and sing your heart out in the shower. No one will hear you!

If you're feeling super shy, play some music to accompany you. Rock out in the shower.
And once you get some confidence, consider singing in public - even if it's just in front of your friends.
