With the exception of some things that are being posted over on the private area of this journal, there really hasn't been much to post about. Just my normal, boring life.

Friday night we watched the remake of Clash of the Titans. Wow, it seriously sucked. I highly recommend just watching the original. While the remake had better special effects, that was the only good thing about it. The plot was seriously lame. So yeah, there was a wasted two hours of my life.

Saturday was our usual errands day. First, Gabriel had a hair cut. The Kid Do's in Pewaukee is now closed and our usual girl who cuts his hair is closing down her business. We were going to try and get in one last time with her last weekend, but she came down ill and couldn't see him. So, we headed to the Kid Do's out in Menomonee Falls. Not as good as our usual girl, but still a decent cut. After the hair cut, Gabriel said he wanted lunch from Culver's, so we took him there.

After lunch it was errands time. We headed to the game store (but Rob didn't find the book he was looking for), Babies R Us, the drug store, the post office, Pick N Save, etc. We got almost all of our errands done.

We got Chinese take out for dinner and gamed that night.

Sunday we grabbed lunch at Loaf and Jug and then did our Fresh Market run for some other groceries. We headed into Milwaukee to get take out from a middle eastern restaurant that we had recently found (I've been missing falafel's for years now) and it was fantastic. We watched The Amazing Race and headed to bed soon after that was done.

Today is Rob's work from home day since he'll be taking a business trip down to Chicago on Wednesday. Later today I'll be heading out to pick up some food for tonight and tomorrow night's dinners (stir fry tonight, crock pot tomorrow). Right now, we're all waiting for someone to come and fix both of our toilets. One is all wobbly and the other is leaking. Knowing our apartment, chances are, no one will actually come today.

Cogito Ergo Sum, by Descartes

52% Nature, 67% Rationalism, 45% Religion, 39% Freedom, 57% Individuality, 46% Power and 56% Uncertainty!

You scored highest on the variable Rationalism. Rationalism was an important part of Descartes' philosophy.
René Descartes, 1596 - 1650, France.
The phrase he is most famous for is Cogito Ergo Sum which means "I think therefore I am". Before Descartes, philosophy and theology were pretty much the same thing. But for the first time he didn't start with God in his reasoning, he started with humans. This was quite revolutionary at the time and caused an "explosion" in philosophy and science. We became the center of reasoning instead of god. Which implied there is nothing we won't be able to find out/understand in time.
