Tuesday morning I had a doctor's appointment for a re-check of my migraines and my blood pressure. As I don't like to post personal details on here, chances are I'll be posting about the appointment in my private section either later today or sometime tomorrow (probably tomorrow).

After the doctor's appointment, I made a run to Kohl's. Since my Mom has been under the weather recently and yet she still came out here, I wanted to get her a present. I ended up finding a cold weather lounge outfit, a warm weather lounge outfit, and some cozy slippers for her. I then headed home and did some thing around the house before she arrived.

Mom arrived around 3:30pm on Tuesday. She was going to go with me to pick Gabriel up from pre-school, but she could barely walk. Her hip had gone out when she was visiting with my Nana and it was an effort just to get up the stairs and into the apartment. Once she was up, I headed out. I made a run to the post office to mail out a bill and then picked Gabriel up from pre-school. Ms. Laura (his teacher) said he had a very good day there.

When I got back home, Mom's hip had popped back into place and she was better. So, she came down to the car so that I could make a run and get the prescriptions that my doctor had called in for me. She waited in the car with Gabriel while I got them and then we headed back home.

I had a dinner cooking in the crock pot all day, so when Rob got home from work we were able to eat. We had dinner, chilled out around the apartment, and watched some TV.

Rob left super early on Wednesday morning to head down to Chicago for his business trip. Mom and I stayed in bed and got up at 7:30am when Gabriel wanted to get up for the day. We chilled out around the house in the morning and headed out around noon to do some things.

We grabbed lunch at Culver's and then made a run to TJ Maxx. I hadn't been there in years and my Mom wanted to check it out. I ended up finding a really cute pair of Coach sneakers way on sale. I also found a Polo hoodie for Rob. Some of their stuff is crap, but they do have the nice occasional designer find for on the cheap. I think I'll have to check back there again sometime in the future.

At Gabriel's insistence, we then made a run into Halloween Express. I think he really likes looking around at the displays. Perhaps a haunted house is in his near future. We'll see. It depends on a lot of factors.

We drove around a bit and grabbed some groceries from Fresh Market and then headed back home.

Rob got home earlier than expected from his trip, so we ordered in pizza for dinner. We watched Hell's Kitchen and all went to bed shortly after Gabriel did. We were all rather tired.

Mom let me sleep in for a bit this morning while she watched Gabriel. She headed out a bit before 10:30am to go and visit with my Nana before heading back home. So, now things are back to normal. Or what passes for normal around here anyway.
