Christmas Eve

I spent a good part of the morning in bed. The cough syrup has me feeling a bit out of it and I was super tired this morning. Since my doctor told me to get as much rest as possible, I didn't feel too guilty about spending extra time in bed.

Once I was showered and ready for the day, we headed to the Fresh Market where we picked up the stuff we needed for our dinner tomorrow. Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, rolls, and carrots. Should be yummy.

Mom came into town today and after spending some time at my Nana's, she came over here. The four of us (Rob, Gabriel, my Mom, and me) headed out to Fleming's for Christmas Eve dinner. That place is amazing. My appetite is rather small with the pneumonia, but still, the food was fantastic. I had french onion soup, a peppercorn steak, and some fresh berries. Normally we get a bottle of wine, but I'm not allowed to drink while on both the cough syrup and the antibiotics, so there was no wine for me. That's okay, I don't drink that much anyway.

So yeah, so far we've had a very good Christmas Eve. I hope all of you are having a good time as well, whether you celebrate Christmas or not.
