So, Gabriel had his poopstorm all Monday and it seemed to have stopped by Monday night. Tuesday morning he was feeling better and went to preschool. He didn't have any problems there and came home and was fine Tuesday night until he went to sleep.

I was woken up by the sound of him about to throw up in the bed. Rob and I got him up and out of the bed before he could hurl in it. The bathroom didn't fare too well however. Gabriel projectiled all over everything. The floor, himself, Rob, the bath mat, the towels, the wall, almost every square inch of the toilet, etc. He actually ended up ruining the pajamas he was wearing. Even after intense washing on my part, the orange stains would not come out and they were more stained that not. We aren't about to put him in puke stained pajamas, so we cut our losses on those. He has more pajamas and will be switching to his 5T short sleeve ones soon anyway (these were 4T long sleeve).

For the rest of the night, he was vomiting on and off. The next morning (Wednesday) was a work from home day for Rob and he threw up once that morning and seemed to be all right for the rest of the day, a bit tired, but no more throwing up.

Well, he threw up again last night and so he wasn't about to go to preschool today. Rob and I started having stomach pains and some potty issues as well and so Rob is working from home today as well.

There's been no more vomiting or diarrhea from Gabriel, but he's very tired and he stinks. Both the diarrhea and the vomit smelled horrible and now that same stink is just coming off of him (his gas, his breath, and out his pores). Even after showering him, he still smells really bad. We called the doctor and apparently this is all a sign of a stomach bug that's making the rounds. He's getting fluids in him, but not much in the way of food. It's normal for him to be tired and as long as he's still peeing and there's no blood coming out, we're good. It's just something that we need to ride out.

We have yet to decide if he's going to school tomorrow or not. It will depend on what happens tonight and tomorrow morning.
