Gabriel was feeling well enough to go back to preschool today. He hadn't thrown up for over 24 hours (the standard rule) and so we thought we'd give it a shot. He was not happy about it.

On the way to preschool, Rob took Gabriel to McDonald's for breakfast. He was happy about that, but not about going to preschool after. When he got there, he kept freaking out and even had an "I want to go home" tantrum. Unfortunately, this made Rob late for work.

From what the teachers said, he was not happy to be there all day, but he was still well behaved. He kept asking to go home, but didn't have any more tantrums about it. They decided to keep him there and not call me to pick him up because they knew he would need a day to get used to being back.

Still, I knew he wanted to be at home with me, so I picked him up early from school. As soon as he realized I was there, he ran over to me and was all happy to see me and head home. Now that we're back home, he's munching on popcorn, drinking some juice, and playing on his computer. He's happy to be back home and happy that the weekend is coming up.
