I have a feeling it's going to be the summer from hell (at least, temperature wise). It's only the beginning of June and we're already frying.

On Saturday we had to stop our errands mid-day because it was just too hot out. Even walking from the car and into a store was too much. Especially with the sun out. Just from walking to and from the car a few times I ended up with sun poisoning. Not cool.

It doesn't look good for the next few days either. Weather Bug shows both Tuesday and Wednesday's icons as cacti. 95 on Tuesday and 94 on Wednesday. It's always warmer than it predicts. Today it's supposed to get up to 87 and we're having thunderstorms on and off so it's also muggy out.

I just hope that when the Ren Faire starts up around here (July and August) that we have one or two weekends where we can actually go.

I hate hot weather. Anything over 70-75 is very uncomfortable for me.

I don't remember it ever being in the high 80's and 90's in Wisconsin regularly in the summer when I was a kid. And I spent a lot of summer time out here at both of my grandmother's houses.

The extreme heat is one of the many reasons why I left Los Angeles. Now, I think it followed me here.

It's only the beginning of June and I'm already praying for fall.
