I recently got a call back from Sydney's vet. The blood panels and urine tests all came back good/normal/what was to be expected. He'll stay on the k/d food because it seems to be holding his kidney's steady, they haven't gotten any worse since he was diagnosed with a kidney problem.

So, the final diagnosis on his shaking and balance problems (and even sometimes having his tongue lolling out of his mouth) is a seizure disorder.

If it happens more than once a month, he'll need to be on anti seizure medication. If it happens less often than that, he should be fine without meds for now.

Since his normal six month senior wellness appointment would be coming up next month, and because he got all checked out yesterday, I don't have to worry about another wellness check up until January. Hopefully, nothing will happen before then and hopefully these seizures will be few and far between.
