Not to jinx anything, but so far so good with the first grade. Gabriel is there for his third day and the first two went very well. There's a behavior chart that comes home with him each night (green is the best, then blue, then yellow, then red) and both days have been green! He seems to be liking it a lot (loves his teachers and his two aides) and comes home happy and telling me that he had a great day. He also likes that he's a "big kid" because he's no longer in Kindergarten.

While he still isn't too keen on waking up in the morning (and really, who is) he is excited about going to school. If things can stay this way, he's going to have a fantastic school year.
