"Frappuccino" has officially closed. Overall, we had a great run. Almost every performance was a sold out house and when it wasn't full, the audience was very giving in their responses. The play in it's entirety had a lot of holes, but I think the story that the cast told was very enjoyable and gave us even more of a challenge through each performance to discover and keep discovering until we could piece things together. Even the last show, I discovered something knew that I had never done before that the audience loved. I worked with such an amazing cast, an incrediblly intelligent cast who always gave 150% in digging through the text and making bold choices. I love you guys... On another note, I've kicked auditioning into high gear. I had one last week for a film documentary the director is doing on Native American Reservations. For the audition he wanted me to grab people off the street and talk to them about anything. So there we were at lunch hour in Soho walking up and down Lafayette and in grabbing as many people as I could, I asked about their view on the Redsox / Yankees game. I can't tell you how many guys were so excited to talk about this. One even touched me...on the shoulder. Come on people! It was so much fun. At one point, no one was on the street so I grabbed these two women in a cafe. Regardless, the director had a great time...I had a great time. Whether or not I got the gig, It was "a great time". Have a few more auditions this week and next week already booked. Wish me luck!!! xoxoxoxooxo
