I had another audition two nights ago for a film which they called a "feature". I've never seen so many homies in one room. It was insane. The stage manager was this chick who clearly worships Emineum. Then, the crew wheels in this TV playing previous auditions like we're at freakin' American Idol. Red flags were going off and I kept thinking there's something wrong with this!!! On top of trying to assess this chaos while inching closer and closer towards the door, I had to deal with this one chick...a fellow acTress (we all know how I feel about this species)... who wouldn't step aside to atleast let me talk with the stage manager, so I pushed her aside. She stayed away from me the rest of the night. I decided to wait it out. I didn't wait for long. Surprisingly, this audition was organized...militantly organized. The stage manager, as "yeah-boy" as she looked, was really nice. She and director treated the actors all with immense respect. In groups we read short sides on camera and that was it. Pretty short and sweet.
