2008-01-09 7:22 AM i'm gonna wash that gray right outta my hair ok, well, more accurately, i'm gonna dye it right out of my hair.
i don't mind a little gray, i really don't. i kind of like a few strands, ya know...i earned 'em! when my mom got into her forties and early fifties, she had the most evenly gray hair. a lot of people thought she had it done like that, it was so even. thinking she'd used one of those caps (you know, ladies, the ones with all the stinkin' holes in it that is so difficult to pull hair through, you usually end up crying from the pain) and they'd ask "how'd you get that so even?" she always answered "raising three daughters" but for me, enough is enough. it's becoming a bit too prevalent, so it has to go. yep, going red again. dammit, red is in my genes, but it seemed to skip my sisters and i. i have one cousin who is so redheaded, that bright, bright kind of orange red...a true "ginger" last time i went with a little darker red, but i have a box (somewhere in one of my big boxes) of a bit brighter red, so that's where i'm going. probably won't get done today, maybe not even tomorrow, but by golly, by next week, i'll be a redhead again. yay! ;-) Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
