I met someone today who works at the VP level in a department that's very involved in movie-making. We hit it off well, and by the end of the meeting I had an offer for her to read one of my scripts. She reads all the time, and knows others in the industry to whom she could pass my script or recommend me as a writer.

So, I'm going over my portfolio, giving one feature a final swipe, and sending it off to her. It's a spectacular opportunity and I will not waste it!
