The frenzy that is staffing season is winding down, and now development season starts. Sheree has my pilot to read, and I also sent her a list of companies I think it will fit. She and I need to connect next week, and we'll go from there.

The conversation with Sheree was heartening. She's willing to help me get the pilot out, and she still believes in our writing. It will be a bit different with this piece since I'm sole author, but after the feedback that I've solicited for the script I'm sure the quality won't disappoint her.. The tone of the script is wholly mine and not a Jennise/Shelley amalgam.

Speaking of the Jennise/Shelley amalgam, now that the CW has blessed Supernatural, that's our next spec. We had it 90% beat out this spring, but didn't want to put work into a show that wasn't coming back -- we learned out lesson from Joan of Arcadia. This script will be more of a fun one for us, and we hope to put it into the WB workshop in August.
