Multiple Voice Syndrome

I realized last night, in poetry class, that I suffer from a weird writing syndrome: I have a split personality voice, going from lyrical fairy tail like writing to gritty short sentenced 'modern' writing. I know I do this with my prose, but now, I find I am doing it with some of my poems too. Evy, the best poet in the class, noticed it. (bitch!) I got an A for the poem-- yay, but I see it. Problem is, I like writing this way. It feels like Rembrandt's shadow and light. It is weird though, and I can see how it is jarring to people. I wonder too about the psychology behind it. Going to talk to Dr. Zachary about it.
