I just visited my grandpa today, something which I havbe been meaning to do for a long time. It's always cool to see him, and hear the same stories every time about his one room schoolhouse from kindergarten till 8th grade, and how he used to work in a garage for 15 cents an hour through high school. He was a pilot, flew C-17 during the war, and it's great to hear all of the stories about that. I really need to get back in touch with family I hardly talk to, I'm really bad at that. I go for a year or so without talking to people who live 40 minutes away and even less. So, I am glad I accomplished a few things today, studied my booty off for the CBEST and memorized my monologue that I have to perform Tuesday night to convince the theatre arts staff at CSUSB that it's worth their money to send me to Utah and compete to the Irene Ryan award I got nominated for. I've been seriously stressed out lately, mostly due to money, and now I have a possible solution to all of that, and am stressed out about how to break the news to my roomate that I will probabally be moving out soon to help out my brother and not have rent to worry about. My roomates boyfriend moved out today, so they spent the morning fighting over furniture, so I figured that this would not be a good time to tell her that I am moving. I feel bad, cuz she is already stressed out about money, and whether or not I move, it's still going to suck for her because I am not able to pay her all I owe her, especially with rent due in a week. Anyway, enough with that rant. I got to talk to my wonderful boyfriend for two hours the other day, which was really cool. I've been so broke, I haven't been able to call him for a month, and that has sucked, but he called me, so now I'm happy again, yay, anyone who wants to see a picture of the two of us from the last time I went out there to see him can go to http://jbirke.tripod.com
It's the website to a friend of mine out there who plans on traveling the world and putting all of their pictures on the site, but for now, it has a bunch of kick ass pictures of Sydney, because Louise and Jason rock, I miss them, but not as much as I miss Dennis.
