2006-01-17 11:15 PM Bauer Withdrawal Mood: Feening Read/Post Comments (15) |
This just in: the more I think about it, the more I like the Steelers. That's one great football team.
Anyway, tonight marks the first time in 3 nights that FOX did not give us any 24, and I am feening like a mofo. The parallels between FOX and a drug dealer are quite similar: they get you hooked on the goods, then make you really want it. And it works. Tonight I found myself trying to rent last season's DVDs so I could catch up on the few episodes I missed. Yes, I missed a bit last season because I was taking a night class on Mondays at the time. Granted, it was probably the coolest class ever, but Sports Illustrated Legal Analyst Lester Munson would get wrecked by Jack Bauer if the opportunity ever presented itself. Anyway, the local video stores didn't have what I was looking for. Yada yada yada...now there's outstanding warrants for my arrest in 8 states. Whatever. More to the point--let's talk about how awesome Jack Bauer is. He reminds me a lot of myself. Some people find it unlikely that Bauer was largely responsible for saving America four times now, and working on his fifth. I say these people just don't realize how awesome Bauer is, otherwise they wouldn't underestimate him. Y'all need to stop hating. Shout out to Rudy, a.k.a. Samwise Gangee for figuring out a coded message from Bauer, although I get the feeling Rudy is going to mess some stuff up later. Jeers to terrorists--what's the deal with you people anyway? Speaking of terrorists, I hope our real-life airstrikes start actually hitting the targets and stop killing innocent civilians. I hate to say it, but it may be worth actually manning the planes on these important bombing missions, or sending in ground forces. Or--a much better solution--Jack Bauer. I know it's been said before, but you have to appreciate the potato. Now that vegetable has versatility, baby. Boo to 24 for having FOX NEWS in the background of the terrorist mastermind's lair. A very implausible scenario--he's probably the least likely person to watch a pro-whatever the American government is doing broadcast. Cheers to William Tecumseh Sherman. What would the Union effort have been without him? Get over it, Georgia. Read/Post Comments (15) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
