I'm a web developer for NOVICA. I'm fascinated by languages, even though I only speak English and a little Spanish. I can count in Korean and have numerous language and linguistics books. I'm living within walking distance of CSUN where I share an apartment with my girlfriend and 2 cats. I'm happy. I write sporadically (I really need to finish that short story), with every intention of making a living at it at an undisclosed point in the future. I taught physics at Emperor's College Winter Term 2008. I love games and stories and music and computers and science and "and." I drink my coffee 100% black 80% of the time and 80% black 20% of the time. Also, there are other things. 7332 42

Three hour tour

Friday night after Kumdo (bambo sword sparring) class I stopped by Ralphs with Ian. Upon returning to the car, it refused to start. I assumed that I was out of gas, since the gauge had been reading empty all week. However, my dashboard is highly unreliable, and thus my empty tank could be a coincidence...

I treked across the street to get some gas. They had a very small loaner tank thingy. I made 3 trips, and the end result was a car that still refused to start. So...we pushed the car across Olympic to the Arco *recalls Arco comercial*

After filling my tank (accidentally with premium) the car still refused to start. Luckily a random fellow walks up and offers to look at the car. He determined that it was the fuel pump, and returned home to get some tools. While we waited for our good samaritan, Ian practiced a set of brown sash techniques on me and then started whistling the theme to 'Giligan's Island'

When Dennis (random fellow metioned above) returned he worked on the car for about an hour and a half. Turns out, he builds race cars... He got the fuel pump working and 3 hours after entering Ralphs, Ian and I drove away from the Arco parking lot.

Other than the broken fuel pump, what stays in my mind about the evening is the 5 helicopters that were hovering over the city the whole time.
