To the Editors,

In 2003 the Republican dominated Legislature held three special sessions to eventually pass legislation redrawing districts for Republican advantage.

At a cost of more than $1 million per session Democrats were criticized by conservatives for 'wasting' taxpayer money due to their efforts using quorum rules to thwart this power grab.

Our current Republican dominated Legislature is wasting the taxpayers's money due to their inability to pass any meaningful school tax reform legislation but has apparently found the time to help out Big Telecom [1].

Where is the criticism from conservatives of this waste and "bait and switch?"
