Christine's New Chapter

And tomorrow is the start of Festival Month! Woo! Only 22 days until we leave for Rome!

No writing done today, we had a finals soccer game at 8am. Ugh.

But we bought another Meyer Lemon tree for my garden, and an avocado (which I think we'll be exchanging tomorrow), and a bunch of manure for the roses. Now the roses are all happy, having been both fed and given bags of fresh, clean dirt.

I counted - we have 35 rose bushes. Last year I didn't take very good care of them, so hopefully this year I'll do better and we'll have an abundance of blooms. I want hubby to do a mural on the back wall of the house, behind the roses - we'll see if I can talk him into it. Hope so.

Both boys went to parties this afternoon, and now hubby and I are exhausted. But yesterday I made a fabulous chicken in mushroom sauce...oh dear. And we had the rest of it tonight, over noodles. Heaven. Absolute heaven.

Now I must go to sleep. Power Yoga is very tiring. Soccer is tiring. The wind is blowing, and it's cold outside.

Sleep. It does a body good.
