Listening to... The clock ticking

Got some good work in on the "third" novel. Sigh. But most important, got youngest son oriented in his new school, and taught him how to open a Masters combination lock for his locker. Hence the one down.

The other gets oriented tomorrow.

I plan to hit the beach on Wednesday and Friday this week, and probably on Saturday as well. I find my brain works well with a dose of salt air and seafoam playing with my toes.

I need a good hairdresser for my eldest son, who's now got long hair and needs a good cut. So, you know, it's sexy for the girls rather than ew. But, not having any testimonials to local locks cutters, I'll probably take him to Unicuts and just have them wield the scissors judiciously.

An interesting side note - his hands are bigger now than my husband's. The fingers are longer than both hubby's and mine, as well, but they have my family's forefinger 'flare'. Genetics - they sure are interesting, when you're comparing hands and fingers and skin coloration...
