In getting ready for guests tonight, my cleaning lead me to start passing on cookbooks. After all, I've got the rescue mission coming on Tuesday to do a pickup - perfect time to get rid of the books I'm not using, right?

I kept 42 cookbooks. I gave away over sixty, at a guess. They filled three boxes, at any rate.

That's a lot of cookbooks, baby.

In six months, if I haven't used some of the ones I keep, then I'll do another purge - but boy, does it feel good!
