I love it when the writing is easy. Today I'm going through edits on the corriganville book. It's basically done, but there are some chunks of chapters missing.

I completed two chapters today for another 2500 words. Have a few more to finish off - may actually hit the 75K mark for this book, rather than the 65K that I thought it would come in at. Would love to stretch it to 80K but we'll see.

But the amazing thing is, when I get to a chapter that ends too fast, it's almost too easy to pick up and carry on. Add the next bit. Because if it doesn't end in the dark, the chapter (and the day) isn't done. So it's pretty clear where I need to add. Considering I've been putting off adding to those chapters, the ease of it all today has been exhilarating.

The next go-through will be for errors. This story is solid. Yes, Jenn, it's got conflict, lol.

So, no fireworks. But the dream of a white picket fence for my vegetable garden is becoming a reality, to my complete surprise.

And we've got dinner and a movie ahead of us.
