Christine's New Chapter

I did some nudging today. Specifically, the nurse who will be setting up pre-op appointments for me to get another MRI and donate my own blood. (Again - this is a just-in-case situation. I shouldn't need any blood at all.)

She got back to me promptly to let me know she'd start working on those appointments today.

And yet, still nothing from her hours later. I'm assuming the appointments will happen at really inconvenient times, because they usually do.

In other news...got myself my pre-op haircut today, lol! Short, sassy, and reddish purple. Think Emma Watson's new hairdo (Hermione from the Harry Potter films). The red really pops my green eyes and I feel more ME than I have in a long time - which is nice! I think I'll be keeping it this length for a long time. The best part? My hairdresser is local! And SO reasonable price-wise! The worst part? My neck gets cold. But I can remedy that with a scarf, lol!

I've been in the writing doldrums. I rather think it's the lull between turning the book in and waiting for edits. Plus, you know - surgery in four weeks. Kinda hard to concentrate on writing an outline for a novel. But I REALLY need to do that, so...

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
