Christine's New Chapter

Today was a kitchen day. Yesterday I tried my hand at vanilla marshmallows - it's been a LONG time - and today followed up with peppermint marshmallows. Then Ranger cookies... then one apple cranberry cherry pie. It sounds weird, but is VERY tasty...

The pie is in the oven, and I've got crab still to use so I'm making a crab quiche for dinner tonight since the oven is hot. But since the cookies are going to relatives, as well as most of the peppermint marshmallows, it's my guess that I'll be making more of both before the weekend is over.

Oh, and a turkey on Friday, as we're going to my nephew's house tomorrow.
