2010-09-01 6:14 AM Quietly Last night wasn't too bad though it started out a little off, I just didn't let DH get into full swing. First I get text message asking if I could pick up a "Nationals baseball cap for him-now he has one already-ok, a little work, but I could try. The store that he thought may have it has been closed, but I would try the old Post Office Pavilion which has tourist souvernir(sp?) shops. Got lucky. I got home just a little before him. But then, he realized he didn't have enough clean clothes for the week and I said I would wash some for him. He gave me a list before I left work, but it didn't make sense. So=between water not being turned back on till 5 and me getting home later than normal, I hadn't started it. He was upset and was going to do it himself. He got home 20 min. after I did. I let him pull his little temper tantrum, then joined him in the laundry room and told him that we both could stay there or he could go back into the apartment and work his credit hours he needed too! I was very calm about it. He was using the "you look like a zombie" line. Yes I was tired, but not that tired. After he calmed down-things evened out. I didn't back down and all was well. Call it stupid, but if I had let him do his laundry-he would have sat in the laundry room for 2 hours waiting for it, then had to work the credit hours, then would have had to do the prep for his class-as it was we went to bed late-11:30 (I finished a book-hey I was 10 pages from the end and it was too dramatic to put down!-a freebie he picked up yesterday-I have to get the other 2 in the series.)So I have learned-ignore his rant and do what I have said I am going to do even though it is not on HIS timetable.
