2011-10-07 6:41 AM And the beat goes on! He sings the same old tune and I repeat the chorous! It is almost like a kid testing out the boundary. I hear the but but argument you get from a 8 to 10 year old when they think they have found the weak spot. Though last night he did try to find a new twist.
He needs new clothes. Trying to get him to buy new clothes for himself is worse than trying to pull teeth in a horse. In my mind-those are neccessities. Last night he shows me a dress he likes for me. I have more than enough clothes. And I say so. It is time to buy for him. He says that he has to save his 'spending money'. HUH? I say no-spending money is for extras! Not neccessities! He tries to say that is not what we agreed on, and I tell him BS right up front. Then I tell him that does that mean that the credit card payments for my clothes come from the spending money? (no). So end of discussion. I swear he can find a problem where there is none!!! And the beat goes on. Church is off this weekend due to transportation problems- the metro stop is down in our location for track repair. Happens periodically. DH was mistaken last weekend. I did sleep very soundly last night. DH said I was snoring in his arms-usually I move out of his arms after about 10 minutes. I was very tired when we went to bed. He had to get up. He said he got up, and when I stopped snoring he came back to bed. Five minutes later I started up again. Oh boy! At 1 he woke me up, he should have done it sooner! I laid on my back with my head elevated, that stopped the snoring long enough for him to fall asleep. I cannot wait for the machine!! Read/Post Comments (3) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
