Well aparently I had some kind of stomach bug that knocked me for a loop. I am better. It hit me hard, Wednesday I woke up with a migraine and stomach problem, B wasn't happy, but not much I can do when I can't keep my eyes open. Tuesday night we both woke up when my body sweat soaked the bed from the head down to my toes. Even last night I was still running a fever. Thank heavens I am better today! Still feeling blahish, but not dead. I think pushing to come in Tuesday, actually made everything worse. Oh, well, I did what I could. THe weekend is here. Now the goal is to be here for the rest of the month!!!!!!!!!

One good thing is that we will be having company for Christmas Dinner. W use to live in the apartment across from ours when we lived on the 3rd floor. He moved to another apartment shortly after we did. Occaisionally we see each other in the laundry room. He worked for a lobbying firm as a tech support. New management came in and he lost his job. He is not in financial straights, he had an inheritance some time ago. As he said, he did not invest it, so he still has it. He is looking for another job, but is using the time to relax a bit. Anyway, we met up with him while we were coming home from work and got to talking. That is how we found out about the job. B asked him about Christmas dinner. He has family, but cannot stand his sister in law, and he and his brother meet up separately. So he's coming to dinner. Even having just one person coming makes a difference. It is company. I just need to get more in the spirit of things.

This weekend is a stay at home weekend-at least ONE day. I want to get the tree up!! We need to clean the garden room and lay the rug from the bedroom,(one of them) under the dining room table. Move the dining room table, wash it down real good, then place the tree, and then have fun!!! Not to mention re-arrange the bookshelve and clean it good! Time to have fun with decorations etc!! And use the skills I do have in that area that I have let lie dormant.

If I know B, he will want to go to a movie. I really don't want to. I would rather plan baking and cooking etc. And watch Christmas movies that we have and that I know are on TV.

We are almost done watching the M*A*S*H series. We have the series finale to watch. The series may have started out to be a comedy but you can definately tell it was an anti-war drama. And to think, we are STILL in Korea 60 years later!! I wonder how much it fed the Vietnam protest. I can hear it in the series.

I am covering the upstairs desk today. I am not suppose to be up here but I was originally scheduled and the other secretary was late. I am tired of staying downstairs all the time-she can do it for a change. She volunteered to go back down anyway. (I had already emailed my managers that I was up here and my ph# if there was a problem.)
