2012-03-19 1:46 PM Listening I know you feel like you are enabling me when you post. You hear me complain about B and some of his treatment.
Ok. I tell you his bad side. I have committed to make 1 last attempt at this relationship. I have given until our August trip to see REAL improvement in our relationship. There is trouble ahead I know. Communication is still troubling. He and I seem to speak a different language at times. There is one small problem that I am working on-and if anyone can tell me how to turn this off, I am willing to listen. I still care about this man that I have been with for 33 years. When he hurts, I hurt. Now, am I willing to put up with his BS forever? No. That is what the August issue is about. So far, I am seeing honest approach, though I am telling him tonight that he has started pushing abit. I also told him that finances will be held differently, Hey-I need time to save too!! I do need your comments to help keep me straight-no you are not enabling me, when you tell me "hey, you are going off, here, crochetlady!" We go back to see the bishop Wednesday and should have counselor's name then. That is when stuff should really get interesting. If B pulls back on counseling, or 'can't' make it all bets are off. And part of all of this: He has just spent 10 days taking care of me when I was sick. Taking care of me in a way that made me feel better, not in a way that made him feel better. That is an improvement. Let's see if it continues. Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
