Mood: Tired but accomplished |
2002-07-18 10:42 PM 12 hours of sewing AETW: 202
Exhausted again. Meg showed up at 10 a.m. today. I was awake-ish, but not up (I got to bed after 1 yesterday). I crawled back into bed and she curled up next to me and we rambled at each other until I was ready to face the world. We ran some quick errands, to get fabric dye and food for her to make me dinner, and then we came home and sewed. She left at 10:30 p.m., and other than breaks for food and a brief splash in the pool, all we did was sew. Any wonder why I知 so tired? We got a lot done, though. Two Roman stolae completed and one close; one purple cotehardie nearly done (needs fastenings, hemming), and two old pieces of my garb modified to fit her. We値l have one more major session before she leaves for Pennsic, to do more chemises and veils, finished the final stola, and possibly make a cream-coloured cotehardie預ll stuff that requires white on the serger. Oh, we also dyed fabric for two of the stolae, and washed the purple fabric before we sewed. So now I知 just tired. It痴 after 11; I talked to Ken and checked e-mail. I have a 10 a.m. chiro appt. tomorrow to discuss my x-rays, and other errands to run, and e-mails to answer. I know I should write, but I知 just so damn tired. Fuck.
