On the heels of our sale to Sex…in the Sportsclub, Teresa and I just got an acceptance for a story for the next anthology in the series. We're enquiring as to whether we'll be offered the standard contract, because, as you all know, we won't sign it. I'll be very interesting to see what happens. The editor raved about our story again, which certainly provides some warm fuzzies! <><><> New favorite hand creme: Vaseline Intensive Care, Aloe Cool&Fresh. Nongreasy, makes my skin feel great, light and pleasant scent that doesn't clash or overpower. <><><> I finish a cross stitch project last night, the second of two Yule pictures. Now I've got 7 months to get them framed. Must remember to take a picture of them. <><><> Wow. Ken (presumably with help from the houseguests) rearranged the garage so that my car fits inside. I'm very impressed! We still haven't emptied the storage unit yet. Soon, though... He said they're going there in a bit, and I told him to just bring back boxes. We'll figure out where stuff goes. <><><> Ed & Marian cooked us supper tonight: lamb and broccoli and roasted potatoes, with a fresh fruit tart for dessert. Oh, please, can we keep them!? They went to bed early, and we should have, but instead we curled up to watch a bit of TV, and I finished my birthday thank-you notes. Carpooling tomorrow, and writing will happen, thank goodness, because otherwise my head was due to explode. ---- Currently Reading: Buried Deep, Kristine Kathryn Rusch Lately Listened To: hrm. nothing again.
