2005-06-06 9:31 PM ...and a note from Eostre Words Written: ouch
I had a lovely day with Ken, but it’s not the sort of thing I can talk about a lot. [wink] We did catch up on some shows, and ran errands (we have a spiffy new cross-cut paper shredder that handles staples and credit cards! Woohoo!), and sat in the hot tub, and ate much food (dinner was hot wings, cheese sticks, breaded onion bits, and celery and carrots and bleu cheese dressing).. He flew from the Santa Barbara airport, so we got up there and ate a late breakfast/early lunch, and then he left and I toddled off to work, my boss knowing I was going to be late (I got there at about 11 a.m.). Which, of course, means that I got home very late tonight. Ah well. Between the strange work schedule today, and my tiredness (I had a headache last night and didn’t sleep well), I managed to forget Afalwen at work. (Note that I was tired enough to take the laptop to work even though I wasn’t carpooling—I just automatically grabbed the whole backpack.) D’oh. So no writing on the way to work tomorrow (although I could use the Palm and keyboard, and will probably do so as long as I remember to bring something to set it on). I was going to write tonight, but remember when I said I was really tired? I’m probably going to be in bed by 9:30 p.m. I’ll set the alarm early, and see what happens. No promises. I might just need a long night’s sleep. (Although I got a fair number of hours Saturday night.) Right. I’m babbling, teetering on the edge of incoherency. Off with me. `11111 (THAT LAST BIT WAS FROM EOSTRE, WHO HAS ALSO HIT THE CAPS LOCK.) ----
