Getting Back To It

The kids are off to school, so all I'm really waiting for is for the hub to get back to work. And I don't really have to wait for that. ;)

So, getting back into routine finally. It actually was pretty easy this morning, despite making a lightly more complicated lunch than usual. It felt pretty good getting back to what I had started to establish before the holidays--a good sign I think! :)

Accomplishments
1 session of stretch.

I also actually got up with the alarm (I was worried I'd ignore it and over sleep after the laziness of the holidays). I'm going to be doing the sitting stretch for awhile. My knees (especially my left one which I injured in a judo class) have been having problems since the exercise started and the cold set in. I'd rather not be adding too much strain to them right now. And floor exercise is out of the question for awhile.

Dinner Yesterday
We ate out last night at our fave Mexican restaurant. I had a Chimichunga with lettuce and sour cream and a small amount of rice. I brought home leftovers! lol

Breakfast
Cereal with milk

Lunch Today
I got this idea from lunchinabox.net, and then played with it a bit. :)

Sidecar: Strawberry "filled" Pancakes (pancakes wrapped around strawberries mixed with whipped cream) and a Mushroom & Chive Japanese Omelet (rolled, cut into pieces, and placed in box sideways)

Top Tier: Banana (sliced but still in peel), Babybel, and Shrimp

Bottom Tier: Carrot Shreds w/Cucumber Pieces

Close ups:

Looking forward to eating that! :D Okay, not only is it time to get back into the morning routine and exercise, it's also time to get to work. :)
